The third annual Springs' Sprint 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs. The course will be run through campus and adjacent neighborhoods and will be all on paved streets. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and is $15. The fun run will begin at 8:30 a.m. and 5K will begin at 9 a.m. Registration is available online at www.active.com.

 Hope Haven to host horse trail ride fundraiser Horse lovers will hit the trail to help raise funds for Hope Haven of Northeast Georgia during the agency’s first Trail Blazing for Hope Horse Ride on June 1 at Frady Branch Trail Head in Toccoa.
Adult Lap SwimThe Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services will offer Adult Lap Swim for ages 18 years and older at the Bishop Park Pool located at 705 Sunset Drive.
